Integrated intervention in Liberia boosts child health and development through nutrition.
Children in rural Liberia face challenges that can harm their health and development. A study tested a new program to help kids by providing parenting sessions and nutritious food like eggs and fish. The program was added to existing health services and involved 30 caregiver-child pairs. Before and after the program, researchers looked at how families interacted, what kids ate, and how they stayed healthy. They found that the program was successful and could be added to health programs to help kids grow and learn better.
