Government Holds Power in Maternal and Child Health Decision-Making in Mexico.
Maternal and child health in Mexico is a big concern, with issues like malnutrition still a problem. The study aimed to find out who makes decisions about programs for maternal and child health in Mexico and how they do it. They used a method called Net-Map to talk to 19 people in the first stage and 15 in the second stage. The study found that the government and big organizations have the most power in making decisions about maternal and child health in Mexico, with not much input from civil society groups. It suggests that working together more could help improve the actions taken to help mothers and children in Mexico.
