New Birthing Class Model in Indonesia Reduces Meetings, Improves Learning Time.
The goal of the study was to develop a birthing class model for pregnant women and their partners in Indonesia. The researchers created a model with two training courses on childbirth concepts and birth plans, held over three days with 120-minute sessions. Feedback from participants highlighted the need to reduce the number of meetings to one evening per week for three weeks. Overall, the birthing class model was found to be acceptable, but improvements in learning time were recommended.
