The study looked at how students in Punjab view gender equality. They surveyed students from private universities in Lahore and the University of the Punjab. Female students were found to be more supportive of gender equality than male students. Urban students were also more supportive than rural students, likely because they are exposed to more progressive ideas. The study suggests that promoting gender equality in education needs to consider both individual and environmental factors.
